Question 1

Does my developer account actually need a closed test?

Accepted Answer

Personal Google Play developer accounts created after 13 November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 opted-in testers for 14 days in a row before they can apply for production. Your Play Console dashboard shows whether this applies to you.

Question 2

What do I need to give you?

Accepted Answer

Your app name, package name and closed testing opt-in link. That's it — no source code, no APK upload, no Play Console access. Testers install from your own closed track.

Question 3

How do I add your testers to Play Console?

Accepted Answer

Once your app is approved, your dashboard gives you a CSV of tester emails. Upload it to your closed testing email list in Play Console, save, and share the opt-in link — about two minutes.

Question 4

Who are the testers?

Accepted Answer

Real people using their own physical Android phones. Each one applies through our tester portal and is reviewed before being assigned to apps.

Question 5

Can I see which testers are active each day?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the core of the dashboard. You get a tester-by-day grid for all 14 days, not just a single total, so you always know whether you're on track.

Question 6

What if someone stops testing mid-way?

Accepted Answer

Every plan includes testers above Google's minimum (14 on Starter, 24 on Professional), so one or two drop-offs don't reset your 14 days. See the Refund Policy for full terms.

Question 7

Starter or Professional — which should I pick?

Accepted Answer

Starter (₹699) covers the requirement with 14 testers, daily tracking and a feedback report. Professional (₹1,399) adds a larger 24-tester pool, crash logs, a device audit and priority support — useful if your app is complex or device-sensitive.

Question 8

Will tester feedback show up as public reviews?

Accepted Answer

No. Closed testing feedback is private to you and never appears on your public store listing.

Question 9

Does finishing the test guarantee production access?

Accepted Answer

No — Google alone decides. We help you complete the 14 days cleanly and fix real issues first, which gives your application the best footing.

Question 10

Is Closed Test Hub part of Google?

Accepted Answer

No. We're an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Google Play.

Question 11

How do I reach you?

Accepted Answer

WhatsApp, email or the contact page — we reply during IST business hours. Ask before you pay if anything is unclear; the Refund Policy is linked in the footer.
